Maryland regulators intend to issue new medical cannabis licenses despite suit

Maryland regulators said Thursday they plan to move forward with plans to issue additional medical marijuana cultivation and processing licenses, despite a lawsuit by Curio Wellness to block their effort.

The licenses are intended to increase diversity in the state’s fledgling MMJ industry.
