Meeting in New York, they also focused on the vaping crisis, agreeing that states should either ban flavored vaporizer products or regulate them to reduce their attractiveness to youth and that vape-product safety standards should be implemented. Ohio Greenleaf Apothecaries, an affiliate of New York-based multistate operator Acre- age Holdings, is poised to open three medical cannabis dispensaries in Ohio after resolving its dispute with state regulators. The company, which does business as The Botanist and Harvest of Ohio, was prohibited from opening new dispensaries until its case was resolved. Acreage Holdings CEO Kevin Murphy released a statement saying that Greenleaf had resolved its dispute with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, allowing it to open the three medical marijuana dispensaries, which will bring its total to five.
