Photo courtesy of Ello The editorial staff of Marijuana Business Daily and Hemp Industry Daily teamed with a panel of industry experts to select companies from Alaska to Australia as leaders in the categories of Regional Game Changer, Community Impact and more. “The growth of the cannabis industry in the past few years merits recognition of the best and brightest,” said Cassandra Farrington, CEO of Marijuana Business Daily , which is producing the awards. “We are excited to launch an awards platform backed by MJBizDaily ’s unbiased editorial excellence, ensuring the honorees are true leaders and achievers in their categories.” Staff members sorted through more than 760 nominations to hand-select 55 finalists in 11 categories. Winners will be announced at the MJBizDaily Awards gala on the evening of Dec. 12. The event is part of MJBizCon Week, which is expected to draw more than 35,000 cannabis industry professionals to Las Vegas for five days of educational sessions and a tailored trade show with 1,300 booths and companies represented.
