Mississippi A group in Mississippi, one of the country’s most conservative states, is aiming to put what looks to be a business-friendly medical marijuana initiative on the ballot in 2020. The constitutional amendment calls for an open market with no caps on the number of licenses for dispen- saries. Patients could qualify for MMJ in the state with any of more than a dozen debilitating medical conditions. Montana A judge is allowing a Billings dispensary to continue operating temporarily after questioning whether the state health department violated the owner’s right to due process in revoking his license without giving him an opportunity to respond to allegations. Montana Organic Medical Supply’s license was revoked after state inspec- tors alleged owner Steven Palmer failed to conduct lab tests before selling marijuana products, improperly labeled merchandise and bought products from another provider.
