Ex-Heineken and American Express Execs Join BC Cannabis Lifestyle Firm Invictus MD Strategies, a British Columbia-based can- nabis company focused on lifestyle brands, hired Sarah Hardy as vice president of medical sales and Kevin Smith as director of recreational sales. Hardy has held executive positions at Mondalez, American Express and Indivior. Smith is former director of sales at Heineken Canada and also has worked as provincial sales manager for SABMiller Canada and regional sales manager at British Columbia Lottery. New Standards Group Taps First Executive Director The Global Cannabis Partnership, a new group seek- ing to create standards for the marijuana industry and advance industry social responsibility efforts, hired its first executive director, Kim Wilson . Wilson spent the past 11 years at Atlantic Lottery as manager of corporate social responsibility. Members of the new group include Canopy Growth, Aphria and The Green Organic Dutchman. UK Medical Marijuana Investment Hires Sativa Investments, a medical cannabis-focused investment firm in the United Kingdom, appointed Joseph Colliver as chief financial officer and a director of the company. Before joining Sativa, Colliver was a director of consulting at Kantar Consulting, part of WPP, which advises retail, sales and shopper clients. Before that, he was chief financial officer and a senior board member at WPP’s Kantar Futures. Friday Night Appoints USA Exec to Board Friday Night, a British Columbia business that owns cannabis assets in Las Vegas, appointed Chris Rebentisch to its board of directors.
