Michigan Medical marijuana regulators are proposing online orders and home delivery, a move that would be a boon to businesses and make it easier for patients to buy MMJ. Medical cannabis delivery vehicles would be equipped with GPS devices so they could be easily tracked. Home delivery would become an option for a licensed dispen- sary as soon as the permanent rules are in place and signed by the governor – and specific procedures for home delivery are approved by regulators. Mississippi A group in Mississippi, one of the country’s most conservative states, is aiming to put what looks to be a business-friendly medical marijuana initiative on the ballot in 2020. Medical Marijuana 2020 plans to start collecting signatures immediately, according to state Rep. Joel Bomgar, a Republican who is on the group’s steering committee. The proposed Mississippi ballot initiative would place no caps on the number of licenses for dispensaries and would allow individuals and businesses to apply for different combinations of permits.
