COMPANY NEWS & Wheelin' DEAL¬N' By Omar Sacirbey U.S. DEVELOPMENTS Iconic California Retailer Going Public California-based Harborside , one of the oldest cannabis retailers in the country, is going public in Canada through a reverse takeover that will allow it to trade on the Cana- dian Securities Exchange. Under the terms of the deal, Toronto-based Lineage Grow Co. will acquire all outstand- ing securities of Oakland-based FLRish , which manages Harborside’s retail and dispensary operations, in exchange for newly issued common shares of Lineage worth roughly $152 million (about CA$200 million). MedMen Buys Woodstock Name MedMen , the Los Angeles-based multistate cannabis company, signed an exclusive license agreement with Woodstock Ventures and its affiliate, The Woodstock Cannabis Co., granting MedMen the right to manufacture and distrib- ute Woodstock-branded cannabis products to MedMen stores or third-party retailers in California, Nevada, Mas- sachusetts, Florida, Illinois and Arizona. The agreement anticipates additional states, should Woodstock Cannabis decide to enter them. It also gives MedMen premium placement of cannabis products at Woodstock music festivals and promotions. MedMen also listed subordinate shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol A2JM6N. Another Denver Social-Use License Mile High Game and Play , a Denver entertainment business, became the second company in the city to obtain a social-use license. The company will do business as Vape and Play . Denver awarded the first social consumption license in February to The Coffee Joint, which will allow vaping and edibles consumption. Packaging Partnership Form Factory , a Portland, Oregon, packaging company formerly known as Gruner Apfel, and Vertical Cos. , a cannabis cultiva- tion and extraction company in Agoura Hills, California, formed a partnership.
