Missouri The Secretary of State’s office said three initiatives to legalize medical marijuana have been certified for the November ballot, although two face legal challenges. The initiatives would offer a range of business opportunities to enter the market, with varying tax burdens as a key differ- ence among the three measures. Some observers worry that multiple ballot initiatives could confuse voters. Voters could approve more than one initiative, and then the results would need to be hashed out in the courts. Nevada The Marijuana Enforcement Division released a re- designed symbol that edibles producers are required to stamp or mold on every single-serving marijuana edible product by Jan. 1. This is the second iteration of the symbol, and it features the letters THC and an exclamation point inside a triangle. Bulk goods, powders and products imprac- tical to stamp or mold with the symbol must be packaged in a child-resistant container in individual servings contain- ing no more than 10 milligrams of THC. An edible marijuana product in liquid form that is packaged as required will not need to be stamped or molded with the symbol. September 2018 • Marijuana Business Magazine • 27
