Kush Sets Up in Vegas Kush Bottles , a major marijuana products distributor based in Southern California, is leasing a 13,000-square- foot warehouse in Las Vegas that will serve as a storage and distribution center. Nevada has enjoyed a robust and growing market since recreational sales started last sum- mer. Nevada retailers sold nearly $200 million worth of recreational cannabis in the first six months of adult-use sales, surpassing the total revenue generated by Colorado and Washington state in the early months of their respec- tive recreational markets. BDS Raise and Grow Cannabis tech firm BDS Analytics of Boulder, Colorado, raised $3.5 mil- lion and plans to spend some of it on a national expansion of its GreenEdge sales tracking software and new hires. Investors include Canopy Ventures I , Alti- tude Investment Management and Panther Opportunity . BDS already serves customers in Colorado, Florida, Oregon and Washington state. The company expects to expand into Arizona and Nevada in the short term and Michigan and Mas- sachusetts in the long term. Brokerage Data Partnership Cowen , the first mainstream brokerage firm to dedicate ana- lysts to cannabis, and Headset , a marijuana-focused data and analytics software company, have partnered to pro- duce THC Tracker, a report analyzing cannabis sales trends across three legal U.S. markets. The report was written by Cowen analyst Vivien Azer, who used Headset point-of-sale data in Washington state, Colorado and Oregon. LeafLink Goes Crabbing LeafLink , a B2B e-commerce platform that allows dispensaries to buy and track products from growers and manufactur- ers, expanded into Maryland, which is the company’s first East Coast market. LeafLink already is present in at least six western markets and wants to be in 15 before the end of the year.
