Perea is a technology and operations vet- eran with more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in venture capital-backed companies in highly regulated markets. Perea most recently served as president of Nutiva, an organic food company based in Richmond, California. He also served as CEO of MIOX Corp., a maker of onsite generators for water disinfection based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. United Cannabis Taps Drug Expert United Cannabis Corp., a Denver biotech company, selected Murray Jensen to join its medical advisory board. Jensen is tasked with overseeing the company's investigational new drug application process with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
