Village Farms International, a Canadian greenhouse grower with a 50% stake in British Columbia-based cannabis firm Pure Sunfarms Corp., has graduated to the Nasdaq exchange.

The company says it will leave the over-the-counter markets – where it trades as VFFIF – and list on the Nasdaq Capital Market as VFF.

A date for the listing hasn’t been announced.

Village Farms also trades on Canada’s senior exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange, under the symbol VFF.

The company announced plans to enter the U.S. hemp market in December, saying it will seek to convert a Texas greenhouse to hemp production.

The move would require a change in Texas law.

Village Farms has a market cap of $366 million (CA$485 million).
