Pamela has been a B2B communications leader for over 20 years, working in sectors as diverse as clinical medicine and advanced manufacturing. Rooted as a journalist, she led content and strategy for events and media teams at UBM as well as overseeing the company’s internal communications and internal and external re-brand. Folio Magazine named her a “Corporate Visionary” and one of the “Top Women in Media.” She joined MJBizDaily in Fall 2019, overseeing the editorial team and media revenue.
Shannon heads the Hemp Industry Daily division at Marijuana Business Daily. Shannon is a B2B multi-media veteran with over 25 years of experience growing digital platforms, trade shows, data driven marketing channels, SaaS sourcing tools, and traditional print media. His most recent experience includes twelve years overseeing the specialty produce agricultural industry’s most respected media brand, The Packer, a division of Farm Journal Media. Prior to that, Shannon ran media businesses focused on consumer lifestyle and other B2B categories in high technology. In addition to his long career in media, Shannon also ran a marketing organization for Fortune 50 tech giant, Intel. Shannon earned his MBA from the University of Kansas.

He previously worked as an analyst for Nielsen, where he provided analysis to Nielsen’s retail clients for use in pricing, promotion and assortment decisions. As then-video editor for The Gazette, he was on hand for the first-ever legal recreational marijuana sale in Denver on Jan. 1, 2014.
